FAQs
Where should I advertise our pastoral job opening?
It’s good to start within the Bible Fellowship Church. Email the opening to the BFC pastors and conference email groups. Contact Communications@bfc.org for instructions.
You can also post the opening on social media and on various job boards such as:
Handshake: https://joinhandshake.com/
This platform is particularly geared towards recent college graduates. Create a profile and then list your jobs and select what colleges you would like the job to be sent to.
The Gospel Coalition: https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/jobs/?section=home_section
Create a profile and list your job opening. The post automatically expires after 90 days. Several of our churches have gotten quality pastors from this job board.
JustChurchJobs: They advertise themselves as the largest ministry job board. They offer posting a job opening for free. https://justchurchjobs.com/s/post-a-job
