Special Guest Speaker

Sean Cooper has spent the last 18 years traveling the entire Continental U.S. casting mission vision to the church at large.  His wife Meredith and he have four kids: Haven (10), Harlie (8), Sullivan (4), and Cass (2). Sean graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Communication.  He has short term mission exposure in India, Indonesia, Mexico, and Ukraine.  For 13 years he served on staff with The Traveling Team, a collegiate missions mobilization organization. Currently he serves on staff with Global Serve International, a mission organization that works to plant churches among the hardest unreached minority language groups in the world.  His primary roles are in recruitment and church relations. When not speaking he loves to cycle and spend time with his family. He has a passion to see people discipled and developed for Great Commission work.  He is currently finishing up a Masters Degree from Reformed Theological Seminary and is a member at Trinity Grace Church in Rogers, AR.

FAQs

How can I be a vendor at Conference?

There is limited room for vendors at Conference. All the spaces for 2026 are full. Email Communications Coordinator Rachel Schmoyer at communications@bfc.org to be put on the notification list for 2027 Conference.

In March the registration link will be sent out to the BFC group email list. If you missed the email, please contact Registrar Joel Klase or email Communications@bfc.org.

The voting members of BFC Conference consists of all ordained ministers plus delegates from each church. The delegates are elders and generally there is one from each church although larger churches send more delegates according to their membership size.

The Conference uses Robert’s Rules of Order to conduct the meetings in an orderly fashion. The Moderator keeps things running according to the agenda and according to the rules.

There are many purposes for Conference:

  • The departments and committees keep the churches informed about how God is at work in and through the BFC through reports.
  • The Conference celebrates and officially acknowledges Mission Churches who graduate as Particular Churches and celebrates and officially acknowledges men who have met the requirements for ordination.
  • The Conference makes decisions and conducts business in keeping with the laws for non-profit ministries.
  • The pastors and elders are encouraged by the preaching of the word of God and worshipping in music together and by spending time face to face with one another.
