BFCON150

Vision Points

At the 2024 Conference, the Executive Director rolled out BFCON150, a refreshed vision for the Bible Fellowship Church that includes a series of six specific items that will represent goals for the 150th BFC Conference in 2033. It includes the following:

  1. Every church passionately focused on fulfilling the Great Commission and the BFC Mission.
  2. The leadership of each church spiritually and practically equipped to lead its people.
  3. A harmonious unity in our shared beliefs with respect for local church autonomy.
  4. An expanding influence of the Bible Fellowship Church.
  5. The BFC empowering indigenous church planters who partner with the Bible Fellowship Church in planting churches that are contextually appropriate.
  6. Expanded ministry opportunities for children and youth in evangelism and discipleship.

#1 - The Great Commission

The theme of the 2026 Conference was focused on passionately fulfilling the Great Commission and the BFC Mission. Guest Speaker Sean Cooper from Global Serve International came to speak on the topic.

Ongoing fulfillment of this Vision Point is lead by Board of Missions Director Jim MacArthur through many initiatives for each local church and for the BFC collectively to intentionally identify, assess, train, send out, and support global workers.

#2 - Equipped Church Leadership

The leadership of each church spiritually and practically equipped to lead its people.

The Executive Board of the Bible Fellowship Church is developing several initiatives to address this Vision Point. For specific feedback and training for individual churches, Interim Church Health Director Dan Williams is available for consultation.

#3 - Unity Among Autonomous Churches

A harmonious unity in our shared beliefs with respect for local church autonomy.

The Bible Fellowship Church churches have shared beliefs centered in Scripture and expressed in the Articles of Faith and Biblical Principles for Living. The Principles of Order lay out the areas of church life which are guided by the Bible Fellowship Church and which are guided by local church autonomy.

The 2025 Conference theme was United and resulted in strengthened unity among our churches.

#4 - Expanding Influence of the Bible Fellowship Church

The Bible Fellowship Church currently exists in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, New Mexico, Florida, Mexico, and France. Church Extension Ministries leads the way in the Bible Fellowship Church’s expansion into new locations and with new groups of people.

#5 - Empowering Indigenous Church Planters

Church Extension Ministries desires to recruit and equip church planters who are indigenous to the culture of the community they are reaching with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Bible Fellowship Church especially desires to empower church planters in urban and Hispanic settings.

#6 - Ministry Opportunities for Children and Youth

Many children and youth in the Bible Fellowship Church develop a heart for evangelism and discipleship while attending or serving at Victory Valley Camp.

The Bible Fellowship Church aims to work with the camp, the Board of Missions, Church Extension, and others to develop additional opportunities for children and youth to serve the Lord and share the gospel.
